After a quick trip to Las Vegas to attend the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, I came away with some thoughts – and some very tired feet!! – and I wanted to share.
There’s Some Interesting Technology Coming to the Market
…for example, there was the FreePower booth. FreePower wireless charging locations that can be integrated directly into countertops. Imagine….you’re getting ready for the day, you simply put your cell phone down on the square that outlines the charger and your phone charges while you’re getting ready. I was also really impressed with the new products coming from the team at Brondell. They have built an assortment of kitchen and bath products that are specifically designed for healthy living. Lighting Is Being Showcased at KBIS
I’ve been going to KBIS for many years and each year it seems that there are more and more lighting companies on display. That makes perfect sense. There was a time when lighting dealers didn’t sell plumbing or hardware and plumbing and hardware dealers didn’t want to have anything to do with lighting. Those channels are consolidating and the companies showing off their products at KBIS represent that consolidation.
